House Rules
No Rain GmbH / Nukranox Festival
The following house rules apply to the entire event grounds, as well as the house rules of Messezentrum Salzburg GmbH (as of September 2020).
In case of discrepancies between the two house rules (e.g., minimum age / youth presence), the house rules of the organizer shall apply.
- Liability
The organizer is only liable for damages, injuries, and theft of any kind suffered by visitors at the event venue if these damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the organizer, its representatives, or authorized agents. The organizer is not liable for personal or property damages caused by third parties or force majeure. After the event ends, the organizer assumes no liability for visitors still present at the event venue or those who re-enter after the venue is closed. The facilities open to event visitors should be used carefully and gently. Other facilities and equipment may not be entered or used by visitors. Event visitors must leave the event and the grounds once the event closes. - Identification
Every guest is required to carry a valid, officially recognized photo ID. Other forms of identification will not be accepted. - Animals
Animals of any kind are not allowed on the grounds or in the buildings. Service dogs for the visually impaired are permitted, provided they wear a muzzle and are kept on a leash. - Safety Instructions & Site Rules
Visitors must always follow the instructions of the organizer, event staff, security personnel, and supervisory staff.
Everyone entering the event venue must behave in such a way that no other person is harmed, endangered, or disturbed. Furthermore, they must act in a way that prevents damage to structures, equipment, devices, or objects.
All persons entering the event grounds must follow the orders of the organizer, the security staff, the police, the fire brigade, the emergency services, and instructions given via loudspeakers or video walls. For safety reasons and to prevent danger, visitors are required to move to other areas if instructed by security, the police, or the fire brigade, or via the sound system or video walls.
It is explicitly pointed out that in the event of a storm (heavy rain, storm, lightning), participants must take suitable protective measures on their own responsibility. Staying under trees or near technical structures or tents is a safety risk and should be avoided.
- Violence
All forms of violence are strictly prohibited at any event. Violating this rule will lead to immediate expulsion from the event grounds and, if necessary, to a report to the relevant authorities. - Cancellation / Program Changes
The organizer reserves the right to make last-minute program or schedule changes, which do not entitle ticket holders to a refund. In case of cancellation of one or more artists, non-use of parts of the venue, or temporary technical failure due to force majeure, no claim for a reduction in ticket price will arise. Costs incurred (e.g., travel, accommodation, service fees, etc.) will not be reimbursed by the organizer in the event of a cancellation, rescheduling, or program/line-up changes due to reasons beyond the organizer’s control. - Audio and Visual Recordings
By attending the event, the visitor expressly agrees to the digital or analog recording of their image or sound without compensation or time limitation. These recordings or parts thereof may be published, for example, on the event website, social media, newspapers, and other media channels. These recordings may be used for post-event reporting, promoting future festivals, or similar events. The visitor may object in writing to the publication of their image data at any time by contacting info@nukranox.at.
All entrances to the festival are under video surveillance.
Personal audio, film, and photo recordings (except for private use) are not allowed. An exception requires written permission from the organizer.
If photos, images, or video recordings are sent to Nukranox or published online, No Rain GmbH has the right to publish them and share them with third parties for publication. The creator of the material explicitly waives the right to be named as the author.
- Noise / Hearing Protection
The sound levels at this event exceed 93 dB, which could potentially harm your hearing. It is strongly recommended to wear hearing protection, especially near the stages. Free hearing protection is available at the service center on the grounds. - Prohibited Items
A detailed list of prohibited items can be found at https://www.nukranox.at/de/info under “Prohibited Items.” If you attempt to enter the venue with such items, they must be removed (e.g., to your car) or discarded. Illegal items (weapons, drugs, etc.) will be handed over to the police! The organizer is not liable for the safekeeping of such items. Visitors agree to a search of their bags and personal items for prohibited items. If a visitor refuses to undergo such a search, they have no right to enter the event grounds. The organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals attempting to smuggle prohibited items into the venue. - Storage of Items
Items may only be stored at designated locations (lockers) if these are offered at the event. If items are left in unauthorized places (e.g., hidden on the grounds, behind a bar, or on the stage), no storage agreement is made, and the organizer assumes no liability.
By paying for the jacket check-in, a storage agreement is created. Do not leave valuable items in your checked clothing.
The organizer is not liable for the contents of stored items (e.g., contents of jacket pockets or backpacks). For checked clothing, the organizer’s liability is limited to €250.
- Bag Inspection
The organizer reserves the right to search visitors for dangerous or prohibited items before entering the venue or while on the grounds. If any prohibited items are found, they will be confiscated without exception. - Intoxication / Drug Use
Visitors who are severely intoxicated or under the influence of drugs are not allowed to enter the event grounds. In such cases, the ticket price will not be refunded. - Minimum Age
The minimum age for Nukranox Festival is 16 years. Bringing an older companion or a parental permission slip does not change this age limit. - Youth Protection Law
The Salzburg Youth Protection Law applies to the entire grounds, in the version valid on the day of the event. - Footwear
It is strongly recommended to wear sturdy footwear with a firm and stable sole with sufficient traction throughout the event grounds. - Climbing Structures
Climbing on any type of structure is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion from the event grounds and a report to the relevant authorities. - Parking
Parking on the venue’s parking lot is only permitted for visitors with a valid ticket during event opening hours.
Sleeping in vehicles or outside of vehicles is prohibited on the parking lot. Camping, setting up tents, or creating sleeping areas on the parking lot is strictly prohibited.
The road traffic regulations (StVO) apply on the parking lot.
The parking spaces must be used as designated, and parking in the traffic lanes between parking rows is prohibited.
Littering in the parking lot is strictly prohibited.
The organizer is not liable for personal or property damage caused by third parties or force majeure. The organizer is also not liable for any vehicles that may become stuck.
No storage agreement is made; the parking lot is not monitored. It is a rental contract for the temporary parking of vehicles. The organizer does not take any responsibility for items left in vehicles on the parking lot.
Parking lot entries and exits are monitored during opening hours, and regular patrols are conducted over the parking area.
- Trash
All trash must be disposed of in the designated trash bins and containers, and not thrown on the ground or left elsewhere. - On-Site Payment
Payments on the entire festival grounds can only be made via a digital prepaid payment system. Any unused balance can be refunded within 3 years after the event via bank transfer. More information can be found under Info – Cashless & Payout. - Consequences of Violations
Any violation of these house rules may result in removal from the event venue. It is pointed out that disregarding the expulsion order by law enforcement is an administrative violation. Any behavior relevant to administrative or criminal law will be reported to the relevant authorities without exception.
